A court in Mahayil Asir has sentenced a Saudi woman of foreign Arab origin to five years in prison for her involvement in smuggling eight kilograms of hashish. A male accomplice of the convicted woman is due to be sentenced next week. The two were arrested after police received information from the public that they were using their place of residence to deal in hashish and other drugs, and that they counted among their customers women and children.
