The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) has arrested an “elderly man” and a woman of African origin without identity documents who were allegedly living together in a village in Asir. A Hai'a spokesman said on Wednesday that the couple had united in a “non-regulatory marriage” and that they were handed over to the “relevant authorities”.
