Salman awarded ‘Kant Medal'

Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Riyadh Province, was awarded ‘Kant Medal' by Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in appreciation of his contributions to the field of science.
Prince Salman received the medal during a ceremony Wednesday in Berlin by the academy and attended by a group of German scientists and academics.
Gunter Stock, President of Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, welcomed Prince Salman and highlighted his role in encouraging science and knowledge.
Prince Salman thanked German officials and scientific institutions for the warm reception and hospitality, thanking the academy for awarding him the medal.
The ceremony was attended by the official delegation accompanying Prince Salman; Saudi Ambassador to Germany Dr. Osama Shobokshi; and a number of officials.
