year-old Arab national for attempting to rob a house in Al-Salamah District. The thief, who was not able to steal anything from the house, later called to apologize to his victim who was on his way from the police station after lodging a complaint. The owner returned to the police and told them about the call which contributed in capturing the suspect in less than 24 hours after the attempted robbery. The suspect had entered the house through an open window. Jeddah Police spokesman Misfer Al-Juaid said the suspect is being investigated for other robberies. He called upon citizens and residents to make sure the doors and windows of their homes are properly locked.
