As part of academic activities in Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) in Riyadh, SEHAI students participated in a recently held business-oriented international exhibition of Saudi Elenex, Luminex, Aircon and Water technology 2010. SEHAI students, accompanied by SEHAI staff, instructors and Japanese experts visited many units of business booth of electronics and air-conditioning in the hall which were deemed useful and practical for their own studies in SEHAI. Based on SEHAI policy of “consciousness of business trend” , Dr. Mohamad A. Suhail, SEHAI executive project director and dean of SEHAI, considered the initiative as one of unique academic activities in SEHAI which provided students with precious experience to see the latest business environment in the field of electronics and air-conditioning that will add to their learning in the daily classes. Students gained lots of knowledge from the visit, such as technologies of energy savings, eco.-trends, recycling and environmental concept etc. which are very important elements for doing business in the Kingdom. At the booth of Daikin (Ahmed Zainy Co.), which is a SEHAI Saudi Working Group member, students listened attentively to the explanation on the state-of-the-art air-conditioning technology from Daikin engineers.
