Yellow House dominated the annual Inter-House Football Tournament of the Pakistan International School Jeddah (English Section) at its premises recently. Yellow House underlined it superiority by emerging champion in Under-19 and Under-17 groups while Blue clinched the Under-15 honor. Providing perfect platform to prove their talent students were divided into three groups - Under-19, Under-17 and Under-15. They were further groups into four houses in their respective sections as Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. In order to maintain the right balance to their studies, the events were conducted on Thursdays. The matches were played on a league-cum-knockout basis. In the Under-19 final, Yellow and Blue matches in in skill and talent and fought neck to neck. But Faisal Khushid cornered glory for Yellow by scoring the winner. The Under-17 final between Green and Yellow seemed to be going the Greens way as they enjoyed adge over rivals. But they failed to convert their advantage into goals which win the matches and honor. As the regulation time could not decide the issue the match was extended to extra time which also ended barren. And in the decisive shootout, Yellow upset the favored Green winning the tie-breaker 3-2. Blue swept Red in the Under-15 final, blanking the rival by 2-0. Ahmed Ali Shah scored both the goals.
