An infant child escaped injury when the incubator he was in at the Child and Maternity Hospital in Dammam caught fire on Monday. The hospital was evacuated safely and nurses managed to remove the child to the emergencies department along with other patients, the majority of whom were children. A Civil Defense spokesman said that a “momentary spark” was caused in a connecting pipe on the incubator when it was plugged into the electrical current.
