known Saudi businessman has been conned out of SR20 million in cash by two men, a Yemeni and Jordanian. The two offered him a share in a supposedly lucrative deal, but to his misfortune his partners disappeared with his millions. The businessman had no choice but to report the matter on Monday to Al-Salama Police in Jeddah. He said in his complaint that the two conmen had received the money as part of the deal. In his complaint, the businessman said he had discussions with the two conmen in connection with a supposedly profitable project. They had asked him to pay his share of SR20 million, which he did. But after completing some paperwork for the project they disappeared. All his attempts to find them have been in vain. Col. Misfir Al-Je'aid, Spokesman of the Jeddah Police, said security bodies are looking for the two men who swindled the businessman. A team from the elite Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been assigned to look for them. He said it was only a matter of time before the men are tracked down and arrested.
