Jeddah Governor to inaugurate Anti-Epidemic Conference

On behalf of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah region and Governor of Jeddah, Prince Meshal Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, will open the third international conference on epidemic prevention in Jeddah, today.
Prince Meshal will also open the first annual meeting of the Saudi Public Health Society hosted by the National Guard Health Affairs at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Jeddah in conjunction with King Saud University for Health Sciences.
The 40- working papers to be presented by the participants tackle mainly hospitals anti- epidemic departments and public health as well as strategies for fighting epidemics, and infectious diseases such as bird flu. In addition the disease transmission of infectious diseases such as meningitis and preventative measures during Haj will also be discussed. __
