Sigma Paints is set to launch its latest innovation product range Sigmacryl Ecoplus which is a tribute to the environment and human health, says a press release issued here Monday. This product is a “clean paint” which is VOC (volatile organic compound) free and does not contain any harmful substances for human beings and nature. Therefore, it is less harmful to the environment. It comes in a wide range of different colors and it can be easily cleaned, it said. While other ecological paint systems meet the ecological standards and conform to the specific VOC (volatile organic compounds) criteria, Sigmacryl Ecoplus goes much further by having the ECO-LABEL and therefore is the most sustainable paint concept in the Middle East up to date. According to the press release, Sigmacryl Ecoplus product range carries the EU Eco-Label, the ‘Flower', which stands for a unique certification meeting the strictest environmental rules in Europe. The product is water based, odorless and dries out quickly.
