A Sri Lankan worker in his 30's was found dead in his room in Khamis Mushayt when a fire broke out in his room. Civil Defense firefighting teams had rushed to the scene where they found the worker's room locked. The rescuers had broke into the worker's room trying to save his life but they found him lying dead. However preliminary investigations showed that the worker might have died of suffocation. When the firefighters had put out the fire and examined the scene they found that the fire had broken out at the door steps which indicates the possibility of criminal intention. Thus the Civil Defense summoned police to survey the place as the investigation showed that one of his colleagues had threatened him of taking his life. His manager was aware of these threats. Colonel Abdullah Bin Ayed Al-Qarni, Police Spokesman in Asir is in charge of the investigation to solve the mystery of the worker's death. - Okaz __
