Police are seeking to locate a Pakistani truck driver who sold the contents of his cargo for a sum approaching two million riyals and disappeared with the proceeds. The driver, employed by an electronics company in Riyadh, had set out one week ago on a journey with products with a market value of approximately three million riyals, but soon his employers lost all contact with him. Using equipment to trace the vehicle and products via satellite technology, police located the truck in the outskirts of Riyadh and some of the missing products to Jeddah, leading to the detention of three Pakistani persons believed to have purchased the stolen goods for one million riyals.
