The Knowledge Economic City on Sunday signed an agreement with ‘Deep Cloud' Company for keeping data and advanced technological services. The project will be undertaken in an area of about 30,000 sq. meters, involving a capital expenditure of nearly SR400 million. It will be the first center of its kind in the region, and will constitute a developed regional center based on knowledge industries. It will also work as a disaster recovery center during disasters. The agreement was signed by Prince Faisal Bin Turki Al-Faisal, Executive President of ‘Deep Cloud' Company, and Tahir Bawazeer, Executive President of the Knowledge Economic City. Bawazeer noted that the center will make 200 jobs available in addition to 1,000 ancillary jobs will be created in the technology sector as well as in supporting works.
