Gulf Cooperation Council Deputy Ministers of Justice concluded their first annual meeting this week in Riyadh during which they discussed, among other issues, a common GGC law on information technology crimes. The gathering, with Deputy Minister of Justic Abdulmohsen Aal Al-Mas'ad in attendance, looked at deadlines for a series of consultative regulations previously approved by the GCC Higher Council, and recommendations from last month's meetings of technical committees. The deputy ministers further reviewed the latest developments related to moves for a common GCC law to combat information technology crimes.
