six Saudi body builders have been banned Wednesday after they refused to undergo dope tests before a national championship recently. Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, President of the General Presidency for Youth Welfare (GPYW), announced the ban after evaluating the recommendations of the disciplinary committee which was formed by the GPYW president. The 46 body builders refused to be tested for drugs at a May 3-5 competition which was held in Dammam. He also named nine coaches, both Saudis and non-Saudis, whose contracts were revoked in relation to the athletes' refusal to undergo tests. The Sports Ministry also warned the board of directors of the federation for mismanagement.
