Eis has started issuing temporary ownership documents to victims of last year's earthquakes who had evacuated their damaged houses. Hassan Bin Saad Al-Ghamdi, President of the Al-Eis General Court, said the court had received a list of 3,000 earthquake victims. The owners were announced and the victims' houses were numbered. The court specified dates on which citizens would be issued the temporary documents. The citizens who are being helped are from villages including Al-Garrassah, Al-Badee', Al-Murabba', Abu Haramil, Amira, Al-Maramiah and Hadmah. He said the houses that were damaged by the earthquakes were evacuated by residents last year. Al-Ghamdi said the residents who hold title deeds for their properties should go to the Ministry of Finance office directly without going to the court first. At the same time, he stressed that the temporary documents will be issued only to the owners of real estate according to a Shariah title deed in the name of the applicant. Temporary documents will not be issued to tenants and those living in tents because they have no right to real estate.
