The young man whose rendition of “I Will Always Love You” on a Taiwanese talent show recalled Whitney Houston's high notes has a record deal. Sony Music Entertainment said in a statement Thursday that Lin Yu-chun's debut, featuring Chinese and English songs, will be released in July. It quoted 24-year-old Lin as saying, “I still can't believe this is real.” Lin gained notice just a month ago on Taiwan's “Avenue to Stardom.” His performance became an Internet sensation and drew comparisons to Susan Boyle.
