In keeping with its core social values, Giordano Fashions - Saudi Arabia marked its 15th anniversary highlighted by a fund-raising campaign to support Disabled Children's Association (DCA). During its celebration held at the DCA compound last Monday, Giordano handed the SR125,000 worth of check to DCA - a result of a month-long campaign which offered customers three gift cards worth SR5 each for every SR100 purchase, which they could either redeem for merchandise or donate to DCA. “Giordano has come a long way here in the Kingdom and 15 years on, we have been recognized as one of the leading casual wear brands in Saudi Arabia, thanks to our loyal customers. With this milestone, we can only continue our commitment to provide quality products, value-for-money and a great customer service experience,” said Ishwar Chugani, executive director, Giordano Middle East and North Africa. It is just one of the company's efforts to give back to the community, he added. “The drive had a great turnout and showed that our customers have generously participated in this initiative,” said Hani Abdul Aziz Saab, director general, Giordano Saudi Arabia. Today Giordano operates over 60 shops in various parts of the Kingdom, from only one outlet in 1995 in the Balad area of Jeddah. “Giordano growth in Saudi Arabia continues to be strong, reflecting the brand's equity and customer confidence. Saudi Arabia remains one of our fastest growing sectors and still has vast potential for further expansion,” he added. Giordano also launched its eco-friendly reusable carry bags to encourage less use of plastic bags and installations of energy saving lights in Giordano stores to minimize carbon footprints in support of the environment protection. __
