Officials at Salwa Crossing on the borders with Qatar on Friday seized more than 5,000 bottles of liquor. A 29-year-old Arab truck driver was also arrested. The bottles were hidden inside the truck's legal load of colored panes. Meanwhile, Saudi Customs spokesman Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Kharboosh said that Customs at all land crossings, airports and seaports seized more than 43 million narcotic tablets, 120 kg of hashish, and four kilograms each of cocaine and heroin during the last year. In addition, 75,000 bottles of liquor were seized, he said.
