UAE developing new offshore field

The United Arab Emirates has been developing what was said to be a major crude oil reserve.
The UAE's Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Co. has been developing an oil field about 30 kilometers from the Gulf coast. The offshore field was said to contain sufficient reserves to reach a production of more than 100,000 barrels of oil per day.
The UAE has already begun awarding contracts for the development of the Umm Lulu field.
