Faisal, Emir of Makkah, will discuss at next Saturday's meeting of the regional council improvements made to the region's services. The meeting will hear progress reports on water projects, the Social Development Committee, and improvements to the performance of some regional administrations. The council will also hear reports on the two latest meetings of the Projects and Facilities Committee and on meetings of local councils in Al-Jamoum, Al-Khurma, Taif, Al-Kamil, Turba, and Al-Qunfudah. Prince Khaled, meanwhile, is also looking ahead to the second Gulf Social Work Festival to be held in Jeddah at the beginning of next month. The five-day event, titled “Social Partnership for Sustainable Development”, is dedicated to productive family programs with a series of workshops and instructional sessions, and will also host a display of products from families across the Kingdom.
