The mother of Aqil Amish Aqil Al-Mutairi, a wanted Al-Qaeda-linked militant, who surrendered last Wednesday to security authorities, is happy that her son has returned to the Kingdom. “I'm assured of my son's fate because now he is in safe hands and will be dealt with fairly.” She said her son's conscience has been restored and he has returned to the right path. In a telephone conversation, she thanked Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, for his help in facilitating her son's return from Iraq and his reunion with his family. She prayed to Allah to reward Prince Naif for his benevolence and noble gesture. Al-Mutairi's uncle also commented on the situation in a telephone call: “The entire family and tribe are sure of Aqil's fate.
