Engineer Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel, Chief Job Creator at Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) - a program of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs (ALJCSP) - held a meeting with Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) recently to discuss cooperation between OIC and ALJCSP. During the meeting, Engineer Jameel presented to Ihsanoglu 2009 ALJCSP'S annual report, in addition to the “Saudis at Work in 2009,” the book released earlier this year. The OIC Secretary General admired the report, and discussed with Engineer Jameel ways to benefit from BRJ experience in certain Muslim countries. Ihsanoglu directed to create a specialized team within OIC to help launch the BRJ programs in Palestine, and especially in Occupied Jerusalem. Ihsanoglu thanked Engineer Jameel for his efforts, mentioning the outstanding programs offered by ALJCSP. Engineer Jameel appreciated Ihsanoglu for his great efforts to support Muslim issues at all levels, and in the world. A delegation from Palestine and Jerusalem department in OIC visited BRJ, where they were introduced to BRJ experience and ways to benefit from BRJ in Palestine under supervision and in coordination with OIC.
