Sahefa District are getting rid of tanks and barrels of water on their roofs because they fear its weight might cause their buildings to collapse. Some residents said that they have already seen cracks in the walls of their buildings. Resident Fayiz Ishaq points out that some dilapidated buildings in the area are dangerous and might collapse any time. Da'alah Sidi, another resident, said they have emptied the extra tanks and barrels on their roof to reduce the load on their dilapidated building.
