Two persons were arrested on Monday after they were caught with 75 blocks of hashish hidden in three schoolbags. Police said that officers at a checkpoint in the north of Jizan made the seizure as they searched a pick-up truck and the two passengers were taken away for investigation. The same day, Border Guard in Al-Owaiqaliya near Arar seized 52 kg of hashish from a person attempting to enter the Kingdom. Officers said that the detained man was also found in possession of a large quantity of cash.
