Prince Turki Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant Minister of Culture and Information, launched on Sunday the Turkish Cultural Week at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh with Ahmad Mukhtar Gun, the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom, in attendance. In a speech delivered on his behalf by Abdulrahman Al-Hazza', the ministry's local media supervisor, Prince Turki said the event would represent “a window through which the Saudi people can learn about the cultures of Turkey and its accomplishments in all areas of knowledge”. The event, which opens in Jeddah on Wednesday, will host Turkish art and fashion exhibitions, displays of jewelry and precious stones, and other activities.
