Faisal, Emir of Makkah, Sunday patronized the graduation ceremony of over 4,000 students from Umm Al-Qura University. Abdul Aziz Surouji, Dean of Student Affairs, said the number of graduates had gone up this year, with doctorates numbering 72, master's degrees 266, diplomas 495 and bachelor's degrees 2,702. “The total expected number of graduates this year is 4,079, and the university is preparing for the graduation of 3,000 female students next week,” Surouji said.
