Avaya kicked off its regional roadshow in Riyadh on Sunday, where it presented the ‘New Avaya' to existing and potential customers. Avaya highlighted its product roadmap which integrates products and services from the recently acquired Nortel Enterprise Solutions to create a new standard for business communications. Fadi Hani, managing director for Avaya in Saudi Arabia, said Saudi is Avaya's largest market in the Emerging Markets region. Following the acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions, Avaya now holds 33 percent of Saudi Arabia's IP telephony market, 63 percent of contact center applications and 62 percent of the mobility applications market. Ninety percent of top enterprises and 70 percent of the top hospitality establishments in Kingdom rely on Avaya.
