Police patrols here on Friday in separate incidents arrested a man in Riyadh and another in Al-Kharj and seized weapons and bullets that were in their possession. The police became suspicious of a man in his 20s driving a jeep in Al-Suwaidi District south of Riyadh. They stopped him and found an unlicensed Kalashnikov rifle, a pistol, and a rifle, in addition to bullets and a dagger hidden in his car. In Al-Kharj, a rifle and 50 bullets were found in the car of a man in Azzaher District. He was detained at the police station.
