Ma'lami Street in Jeddah on Thursday when members of the public informed them that a middle aged woman was blocking traffic while screaming for help from passers-by to “stop her husband” who she said had deprived her from seeing her children. Bystanders said that the woman had gathered a large crowd of curious onlookers for over an hour, but that no one dared approach her, “fearing her state of mind”. The woman was eventually accompanied to the police station by officers and a neighbor who said she had been “suffering from problems since she had left her husband's house after a family argument”.
