Minister of Transport Jabarah Al-Suraisiry will inaugurate the Autocare Arabia, and Freight Logistics Arabia exhibition - ATA '10 - at the Jeddah Center for Forums & Events on Sunday. “Autocare Arabia is the second international exhibition for the automotive after market, and Freight:Logistics Arabia is the second international exhibition for the transport logistics industry and commercial vehicles,” Zahoor Siddique, exhibitions director, Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE), organizer of the event, said. He added the exhibition, which will conclude on April 28, is an offshoot of the Kingdom's established automotive show - The Saudi International Motor Show - showcases the latest technology in the sector, as well as presents an opportunity to learn from the experts about the latest developments and market trends. Participants include companies from the UAE, Egypt, Pakistan, Italy, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Poland alongside a large number of Saudi companies. Siddique said ATA '10 builds on the success of ATA '09, which recorded more than 7,000 visitors, of whom 81 percent were seeking new products. “As a first edition, the twin event proved an overwhelming success with buyers expressing the need for such an exhibition in what is a growing and important market sector of the buoyant Saudi economy,” he said, and added “an exit poll showed that 86 percent had totally or partially achieved the purpose of their visit and 73 percent said they would return for the next exhibition.” He said Autocare Arabia is the only trade exhibition that provides both domestic and international suppliers with a marketing platform under one roof covering every aspect of the Kingdom's automotive aftermarket industry.
