A man of African nationality was arrested in Jeddah on Monday for possessing a false identity card and using it to obtain employment, open a bank account, acquire a driving license and health insurance, and rent accommodation for himself and his family. The man, who had overstayed the permitted time of a legal visa, also used his fake Saudi identity to hire cars, and was found by officers in possession of other identity cards bearing his photograph. Police are investigating the source of the false documents.
