A contract for a SR2.2 billion project to house people displaced from the Saudi-Yemeni border region will be signed Tuesday in Jizan. Prince Muhammad Bin Nasser Bin Abdul Aziz, the Emir of Jizan, is slated to witness the signing of the contract to house the evacuees at an Al-Hassmah site. This is one of five projects which would be carried out in three governorates – Samta, Ahad Al-Masareha and Al-Aridha. The evacuees' housing project in Al-Hassmah will have 3,249 housing units, 11 mosques, 15 schools for boys and girls and three health centers. It will have all the necessary infrastructure including roads, pavements, electricity, water and sanitary drainage and public parks.
