Furqan Forum for Students' Dialogue at the Muslim World League (MWL), under the motto “Makkah Al-Mukarramah – the place and safety”, will be launched here next week. Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Khudhairi, undersecretary in the Makkah governorate, is scheduled to kick off the annual event next Monday. About 250 cultural, educational and media personalities will participate in the forum. Also, the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue is slated to organize a training course for male and female students. The forum will have three sessions. In the first dialogue, Dr. Saleh Bin Awwad Al-Maghamsi, Director of the Madina Research Center will speak on the Holy Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah. In the second dialogue, Dr. Engineer Sami Barhamin, Secretary General of the Higher Commission for Developing Makkah and the Holy Sites will speak on an issue entitled: “The generous efforts by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to develop Makkah and the Holy Sites”. The third dialogue will deal with the role of the citizen, expatriates and visitors in maintaining security and sanctity of the place.
