An Indian man has been arrested in Riyadh for the murder six days ago of a compatriot in the Al-Kandra District of Jeddah. The 40-year-old deceased's body was found last week at a workers' residential complex with a series of fatal stab wounds, and investigations narrowed the suspects down to an acquaintance of the victim whose whereabouts were unknown following the killing. The suspect's movements were later traced to the capital, however, and after police made the arrest on Saturday the accused confessed to the murder, saying it had resulted from a “sudden argument”.
