The Supreme Judicial Council has appointed four new executive judges in Jeddah, Riyadh and Abha to complete the judiciary circuit set up to ensure that court sentences are carried out. Two judges have been appointed to the sentence execution circuit at Jeddah General Court, while the other two have already assumed their duties in Riyadh and Abha. A source told Okaz that a sentence execution law is expected to be approved this year, with the Cabinet's Experts Commission currently in the final stages of revising the regulations. The source added that the new law will contain 99 articles defining the execution of civil, financial, commercial and family law rulings, the latter covering marriage, divorce, and custody cases.
