A raid by the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) on a house here on Monday led to the arrest of an undisclosed number of Asian workers and the seizure of large quantities of alcohol and distilling equipment. Hai'a officials said that over 1,000 liters of homemade alcohol was found at the site in the Old Airport district of the town, along with 400 bottles ready for sale and distilling and fermenting equipment, all of which was later destroyed.
