The Education Department in the Northern Border Province is investigating claims that two teachers attacked a pupil at a secondary school in Arar. The incident, which involved teachers of foreign nationalities, led to the pupil requiring hospital attention for a bloody nose and bruises. Police in Abha were called to a fight the same day between pupils after a local witnessed the brawl outside the precincts of a secondary school. Officers broke up the confrontation and there were no reports of injuries.
