A teenager was taken to the Mental Health Hospital here on Monday after police prevented him from throwing himself from the third floor of a residential block on Al-Najah Street in Al-Mubarraz. The 17-year-old's family was reportedly asleep when neighbors informed police that the teenager had appeared standing on the edge of their apartment's balcony, and officers ascended the building and restrained him. He was taken to Al-Mubarraz Police Station, where officers said that “psychological pressures” led to his actions, before he was admitted to hospital.
