A Bangladeshi worker died on the spot when he was hit by a speeding car while trying to cross Bahra road leading to Makkah on Sunday. Police have collected the remains of the expatriate worker and investigations are continuing. Eyewitnesses said several similar fatal accidents have occurred in the past because the road is very congested and is frequented daily by thousands of workers.
