Police in Jizan are trying to identify the persons responsible for the theft of 40,000-riyals-worth of equipment from a secondary school in Samta on Sunday. Officials said that the perpetrators, who entered the premises via an air-conditioning shaft and stole equipment from science laboratories, also left obscene graffiti on various walls at the school. Investigators said they had lifted fingerprints from the site and that the culprits would “soon be brought to justice”.
