A court here has sentenced an Arab man to 15 days in prison and 70 lashes of the whip for selling stolen products at a mobile telephone shop. The shop was also ordered closed for seven days. The conviction came after police were informed of a telephone theft by a member of the public, and the item was later found in the possession of a man who had a receipt showing that he had bought it in good faith from the store. When officials inspected the shop they found it to contain numerous products of undocumented origin.
