The Gulf Film Festival (GFF) is an annual non-profit cultural event held by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Dubai Studio City, that aims to celebrate the highest standards of cinema in the Middle East. The festival has taken place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, since 2008. The GFF Competition is open to professionals in the categories of Feature Films, Short Films and Documentaries. The festival's aim is to present the best of Arab cinema from Gulf countries. __
