Sultan's wife donates SR300,000 to orphans

Princess Munira Bint Abdul Aziz Bin Musaed Bin Julawi, wife of Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, has donated SR300,000 to children's homes. The donation was announced on her behalf by Princess Al-Bandari Bint Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz as she opened events to mark Arab Orphans Day held at Riyadh School in the capital on Monday. Latifa Bunaiyan of the Ministry of Social Affairs praised the support of the King and the Crown Prince in enabling the ministry to “turn the system at homes from an institutional one to something closer to living in a normal family”, while Munira Al-Rabeah of the ministry's Foster Homes Department appealed to the public to register with its foster programs.
