Saudi artist, Ola Hejazi, will have four of her works on display in a fine arts exhibition of GCC women artists at the Waqif Art Center in Doha, Qatar from May 20th to June 20th. The exhibition, entitled “Open Your Eyes”, will focus on how GCC women artists are maintaining their cultural identity in the midst of dramatic developmental changes. This is not the first time that Hejazi has exhibited abroad. She said that after a private exhibition in Paris in 2007, her sense of artistic responsibility began to grow and she realized that she had to work hard to uphold the artistic reputation of Saudi women artists. __
