Indian chartered accountants hold annual event
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 04 - 04 - 2010

The Jeddah Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, setup in 1990, held its annual event at Al-Shallal Theme Park with a large number of Chapter members, sponsors, and guests with families in attendance.
Chairman Raveesh Tatli, while welcoming members and guests, reviewed the Chapter?s activities and commended the efforts of committee members during 2009 to provide quality technical sessions including a two-day IFRS seminar with well-known speakers from India. He highlighted the visit of two committee members (Ravish and Irfan) to Hyderabad for the Institute?s Annual Conference of Overseas Chapters. He informed Chapter members of the organization?s healthy financial position for 2009, which will enable it to bring more speakers from India for 2010.
He thanked all sponsors and members for their support and expressed his gratitude to committee members who worked tirelessly to make the evening a success.
A grand raffle with over 100 prizes was held comprising products, such as air tickets, laptops, gift vouchers, cell phones, wristwatches, perfume sets, gold biscuits and electronic items.
