PIA, Pakistan's national airline, will make its inaugural flight to Sialkot from Jeddah on Saturday, leaving at 1:10 A.M. and carrying more that 400 passengers along with inaugural guests, said Kurrum Mushtaq, PIA county manager, in a press briefing for travel agents at his office here on Wednesday. The new Boeing 747 Jeddah-Sialkot-Jeddah service, which will operate once a week on Saturday, will make travel more convenient for the more than 30,000 Pakistanis from Sialkot and its surrounding areas who work in the Kingdom. “The airfare is very attractive and credit goes to Capt. Muhammad Aijaz Haroon, Managing Director-PIA, who aims to provide the best services to all Pakistanis living abroad,” Mushtaq said. He added that cancelled Jeddah-Karachi-Jeddah flights would be added to the new summer schedule. Arshad Choudry, PIA Manager - Western province, and Aamir Aman, the new station manager - Jeddah, were also present at the briefing.
