The Society for Orphan's Welfare has spent SR600 million since its inception 10 years ago, providing care for some 30,000 children. Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, head of the charity's executive committee, gave the figures and offered thanks on behalf of the society to the charity's founder and president Emir of Riyadh Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, ahead of a gathering on Saturday to celebrate its tenth anniversary. “Since he founded the society Prince Salman has offered continued care and support, and the occasion of its tenth anniversary is an opportunity to highlight its most significant achievements in its care for orphans,” Prince Faisal said.
