The coach and lawyer representing Caster Semenya have been told that she cannot run Tuesday at a meet in South Africa because the IAAF has yet to release its findings from her gender verification tests. Coach Michael Seme and lawyer Greg Nott asked the organizers of the Yellow Pages Series athletics meet in Stellenbosch, near Cape Town, to allow the 19-year-old runner to compete. But that request was denied by Richard Stander, the chief executive of the local Boland Athletics association and meet organizer.
