Tank bomb found in desert sand

Bomb disposal teams were called to a desert site in the Northern Border Province Monday after a local came across an unexploded tank bomb lying in the sand. Explosives experts made the 105 caliber artifact safe, and a regional police spokesman praised the member of the public for his “alertness in informing the authorities”.
